ACTIVE BREAKOUT BOX

It's an active breakout box with line-matched outputs + 3/5 of a Roland GKP4.  A GK pickup can control two separate v-synths, and record/play separate strings simultaneously. Active and passive modes are optional.

SWITCHES: Four LED switches: Two patch selector switches.

Two volume selector switches. GKP4 type operation.

BACK PANEL

Six stereo 6.35mm Jack Sockets: Six separate string line-matched outputs, plus one ‘normal’ guitar or line-matched output.  Six separate string line-inputs for v-synth re-amping from a DAW or multi track.

BATTERY POWER SUPPLY

Powered by two 9-volt PP3 batteries lasting up to nine hours.  A battery power supply insures minimum mains-ripple or hum from a hex pickup and power supply.

AUDIO

Signal-to-noise-ratio or dynamic-range = 100dB. Passive mode = Hex pickup dependent, typically 85dB dynamic-range.

Total-harmonic-distortion = 0.00676% or better.  String cross-talk is hex pickup dependent, although separate string output are generally around 40dB, but can go as low as 10dB depending on similar notes played.
